4′s Moving To Kindergarten
If your child is going to attend our private kindergarten, remember that kindergarten is part of the Bravo Arts Academy and tuition is charged in monthly increments on the 1st of each month (beginning August 1). Your weekly daycare tuition will be reduced once kindergarten begins. Kindergarten classes begin on Wednesday, August 15 with a Meet Your Teacher Day (parent required to attend) where you’ll check your child out of daycare and take them up to kindergarten. After that first day, the daycare will check them out and take them to class daily. Your child will remain in the 4′s daycare class to the end of August. This will allow your child to get used to kindergarten for a couple weeks before moving to the school age classrooms. View more information and upcoming events for your child’s kindergarten class here.
Daycare Director
As you may know, Angy Ford is the daycare director. A few months ago Angy promoted Heather Sanborn-Parke to be the the assistant director. Unfortunately since that time, Angy Ford began having some serious complications with her pregnancy, thus Heather Parke has taken on many additional responsibilities. Heather works full time at the daycare and is there to ensure parents, students and teachers are fully supported. Please feel free to contact her at any time. Her preferred form of contact is email: parke@utahbravo.com. She also has a direct line of 801-896-7454 if you’d like to call her.
Bravo Daycare Famous Family
Our famous daycare family is the Lawrence family. They are enrolled in our daycare at our Clearfield location. They have two children a girl who is 9 and a boy who is 6. They describe themselves as a “fun” family that loves Little Caesar’s Pizza (Pepperoni or Hawaiian). They enjoy taking camping vacations with their cousins and other extended family and sing along to the radio on the way! For family time, they like to play a game on the Wii or play Monopoly or Game of Life. They enjoy listening to Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.
The Lawrence family has been at Bravo for two years. Their favorite thing about Bravo Daycare is the extra fun activities that are offered over the summer. They also love how the children can take extra classes, like tumbling, in the Arts Academy. Both children have made a lot of friends and they love that they get to spend time with them on a regular basis.
Staffing Changes
We would like to welcome Ms. Jessica Linford as our new 2 year old Department Leader! Ms. Brenda Brown will not be going too far, as she is going to teach preschool in our Arts Academy! Ms. Sarah Suekawa and Ms. Melanie Collett sadly will be leaving us to pursue other needs and interests in their families. Look forward to meeting our new additions to the baby department: Ms. Pearson and Ms. Haggin!
Daycare Special Events
We will be having an Inflatable Day, with a giant bounce house for your child to play in! We will also be having Tom & Jerry movie day this month! Your child will get to watch a 30 minute cartoon in our huge indoor gym! Look for the dates and times of these fantastic events on your child’s August calendar.
“We sent our oldest son to the music and academic preschool and absolutely loved it. He was well prepared for kindergarten the next year. The small class size and skilled teachers make this preschool an ideal place for children to learn...” -Julie P.
“I’m a parent with five children. They have all taken piano lessons at Bravo. My oldest has graduated and we now have four children enrolled. We have been going there for a little over 12 years. One thing I really love is that it is really convenient to have my 4 children scheduled at the same time. I also love that the studio has no distractions, whereas my oldest child used to take from a teacher out of her home that did tend to have distractions...” -Rachel F.
