What To Look For In A Preschool or Kindergarten
It all starts with our teachers.
We go to great lengths to hire teachers that meet and exceed all state and local requirements as well as show alignment to our company values. Additionally, we perform background checks and reference checks to ensure that every teacher has the credentials and experience needed to provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for your child. In addition, all members of our faculty receive ongoing training, and every member is evaluated throughout the year. These in-depth hiring practices and ongoing training programs set Bravo apart from our competition, and they foster a stimulating, nurturing, fun and creative environment for children to learn.
Safety and security is our top priority.
Your child’s safety is our number one concern. Our school is constructed with open floor plans and plenty of windows that allow open viewing into all of our classrooms. Our desk staff stays at their desk except to help a student or parent in need. We have installed special security alert devices in our building as well as practice safety drills throughout the year. Teachers hold children in their classroom until an authorized person comes in to pick up their child. When it comes to your peace of mind, you can count on us for the highest possible safety and security standards.
An academically appropriate curriculum with music and sign language.
In addition to a nurturing, caring and supportive environment, your child will grow using our exclusive curriculum. Each age (2, 3, 4 & Kindergarten) has its own curriculum which includes a variety of hands-on activities. Our academic and social skills are the primary focus while we compliment your child’s education with music (piano-based) and sign language skills. The assortment of activities is endless, which encourages children to learn, play and explore.
Clean and organized classrooms.
Take a look in any of our classrooms and you will see a clean, organized learning environment. Each classroom is decorated with a variety of colorful pictures, maps, color charts, nursery rhyme, shapes and letters to stimulate child’s curiosity and to support our curriculum. Activity drawers are clearly labeled to enable children to be introduced to words and be successful during clean up time. Our school is equipped with a variety of audio and visual aids, educational toys, games, puzzles and learning supplies. In addition, our playgrounds are divided into separate areas to give variety and age-appropriate fun.
Parent participation is encouraged.
Bravo places particular emphasis on open communication between parents and our faculty. Our Open Door Policy encourages parents to get involved in classroom and school activities. Each teacher also has a parent-teacher conference sign up on their door parents can use as often as they wish throughout the year. We believe this is critical in assisting families to monitor their child’s development, and it also maintains a high level of confidence between parents and our faculty.
Bravo provides extras, without any extra cost.
A Bravo backpack is provided on the first day of school along with a fun treasure hunt. Our field trips are always included in your tuition as well as our other special events including our Halloween Carnival, Valentine Cookie Day and Santa Visit, just to name a few. Twice yearly your child will proudly show off their skills at parent day. When graduation comes your family will be invited to a special presentation and your child will leave with their graduation medal and memory book. We ensure your child’s experience at Bravo is filled with special memories and they leave with the skills to be ahead when they begin first grade.
